What benefits can I expect from supplementing with desiccated organ meats?Updated a year ago

Since we announced the launch of MK Supplements in 2021, many people have asked us about the specific benefits they can expect when using desiccated (freeze-dried) beef organs.

In a nutshell, desiccated beef organs are a rich source of bioavailable micronutrients such as vitamins, minerals and coenzymes that play vital roles in your body and support brain function, metabolism, mitochondria and more. That’s why we consider beef organs nature’s ultimate multivitamin.

So unless you make fresh organ meat a regular part of your diet, we recommend supplementing with freeze-dried beef organ capsules, regardless of how healthy you are.

But it’s important to understand that supplementing with beef organs may have more or less noticeable effects on how you feel, depending on your current state of health and well-being.

For example, if you’re deficient in certain micronutrients, such as Vitamin B12 or iron, you’ll likely notice an improvement in your overall health (and higher energy levels) within a few days after you start taking beef organs.

On the other hand, if you don’t suffer from significant nutritional deficiencies, you probably won’t feel a significant impact. Michael and Kathy, the founders of MK Supplements, didn’t feel any better after starting to use these supplements because their dietary lifestyle was relatively healthy to begin with.

Michael has noticed a dramatic improvement in his dental health since he started including organ meat in his diet, a fact that he attributes to his increased Vitamin K2 intake (which supports the remineralization of teeth and bones). Plus, he's noticed an improvement in his immune function, in the sense that he hasn’t been sick in over three years.

In fact, when he contracted SARS-CoV-2 (the coronavirus that causes COVID-19), he only noticed slightly decreased energy levels for a few days (i.e., no major symptoms). He chalks up that favorable outcome to his metabolic health and the daily consumption of organ meats (mostly in the form of desiccated beef liver).

In conclusion, we view the daily consumption of organ meat as the foundation of our health and well-being, because it helps us fill any nutritional gaps we may have. However, it’s vital to understand that nutrition is only one aspect of a healthy lifestyle. If you disregard sleep, exercise, environmental toxins and stress management, you might not feel or perform optimally, despite eating well and supplementing with organ meat.
